The cosy centre of Schoorl, with various shops, restaurants, and terraces, is just a 10-minute bike ride away. The lively artists’ village of Bergen, known for its boutiques, galleries, and Museum Kranenburgh, is about a 15-minute bike ride. For a day at the North Sea coast, you have a choice: cycle in about 20 minutes to the quiet, unspoiled beach of Schoorl aan Zee, or opt for the popular beach of Bergen aan Zee, reachable in about 30 minutes by bike.
